About Us

About Us

At Escape day spas we support many Western Australian charitable organisations. Sometimes in life we forget how lucky we are. We spend lots of time trying to make ends meet and we forget what life is really all about. Escape day spas is a family run company with 26 staff. We feel that our staff are part of one big and most of the time happy extended family. We feel very responsible for each others well-being and believe we all have to enjoy our time at work otherwise you won't enjoy visiting us.

We not only want to make a difference to how you feel and look but also to help local charitable organisations like Nurture Works: BUZ - Build Up Zone, an initiative of Nurture Works that reaches into schools, families and communities and whose aim is to; Grow confident children in a positive environment. A charity very close ot our hearts is of course The Breast Cancer Foundation Of Western Australia , we give to the Long Table Lunch every year and what a great event! Women of the West is a fund raising group for The Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation,Western Australia's only specialist children's hospital. Since the Foundation was first established in 1998, they have raised more than $22 million to fund life-saving research and capital projects. They have also funded close to a quarter of the equipment currently used by the hospital. With children of our own this foundation is very important to us all.

For the next 3 years we have committed to The Leukaemia Foundation in Western Australia which was established in Queensland in 1975. The Leukaemia Foundation is the only national organisation dedicated to the care and cure of patients and families living with leukaemias, lymphomas, myeloma and related blood disorders. The disorders include myelodysplastic syndromes, myeloproliferate disorders (PRV, ET, MF), waldenstroms, amyloidosis and aplastic anaemia. Their Mission is to Care and their Vision is to Cure.

Our Financial Controller of the Company, stephen Andrews, embarked on an adventure with a difference. Stephen rode around Australia on his motorbike raising community awareness of an epidemic that is sweeping our country, Depression. The third biggest individual health problem in Australia. Each year around 1,000,000 adults and 100,000 young people live with depression. Since his first ride back in 2009 Stephen has had many wonderful and emotional adventures with lots of amazing people. Visit http://www.blackdogride.com.au to learn more about his journies, depression and how to cope or help someone who is suffering from depression.

We hope this information gives you some insight into what we do and who we are at escape day spas, as we try to do more than just great spa treatments. We know a simple massage can be a wonderful, de-stressing experience and with the addition of reflexology or hot mud, to release any lingering tensions, it will change the way you feel but to give and help others makes all our hard work very worthwhile.

Take time, smell the roses and hug your kids, friends and family.

And remember to escape soon... you deserve to.

Warm regards,

Jennifer Bingemann and The Escape Team.
