About Us

About Us

At Escape day spas we support many Western Australian charitable organisations. Sometimes in life we forget how lucky we are. We spend lots of time trying to make ends meet and we forget what life is really all about. Escape day spas is a family run company with 26 staff. We feel that our staff are part of one big and most of the time happy extended family. We feel very responsible for their well-being and believe we all have to enjoy our careers as we all spend so much time at work.

We not only want to make a difference to how you feel and look but also to help local charitable organisations like Nurture Works: BUZ - Build Up Zone is an initiative of Nurture Works that reaches into schools, families and communities and whose aim is to "Grow confident children in a positive environment". A charity very close ot our hearts is of course The Breast Cancer Foundation Of Western Australia , we give to the Long Table Lunch every year and what a great event! Women of the West is the fund raising group for Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation.Western Australia's only specialist children's hospital. Since the Foundation was first established in 1998, they have raised more than $22 million to fund life-saving research and capital projects. They have also funded close to a quarter of the equipment currently used by the hospital. With 5 children of our own and our staff always adding to Western Australia's growing population this foundation is very important to us all.

For the next 3 years we have committed to The Leukaemia Foundation in Western Australiawhich was established in Queensland in 1975. The Leukaemia Foundation is the only national organisation dedicated to the care and cure of patients and families living with leukaemias, lymphomas, myeloma and related blood disorders. The disorders include myelodysplastic syndromes, myeloproliferate disorders (PRV, ET, MF), waldenstroms, amyloidosis and aplastic anaemia. Their Mission is to Care and their Vision is to Cure. We also give to Heart Kidswhose vision is to embrace the future for HeartKids and their Mission in Australia is to have a reduced incidence of children with heart disease, a reduced mortality rate in children affected by heart disease and to significantly support the HeartKids and their families. This will be achieved through the development of: Research, Support, Awareness and Advocacy.

On the 26th of July this year my Husband, Financial Controller of the Company (so sometimes not very well liked), went on an adventure with a difference. Stephen rode around Australia on his motorbike raising community awareness of an epidemic that is sweeping our country, Depression. The third biggest individual health problem in Australia, each year around 1,000,000 adults and 100,000 young people live with depression:visit http://www.blackdogride.com.au/view/ to learn more about his journey, depression and how to cope or help someone who is suffering from depression.

I hope this information gives you some insight into what we do and who we are at escape day spas, as we try to do more than just great spa treatments. We know a simple massage can be a wonderful, de-stressing experience and with the addition of reflexology or hot mud, to release any lingering tensions, it will change the way you feel but to give and help others can make all the hard work very worthwhile.

Take time, smell the roses and hug your kids, friends and family.

Then let us release the stresses of modern day living and nurture you at an escape day spa: Rediscover your inner well-being and escape....you deserve to.

Warm regards,

Jennifer Bingemann
